The University of Miami is seeking part-time lecturers for the Department of Geography and Sustainable Development. Candidates should have a terminal degree in Geography or a related field, with preferred college teaching experience. The position allows for a maximum of two courses per semester and is contingent on student demand and funding. Applications are accepted year-round, and the role is based in Coral Gables, FL.

The Department of Geography and Sustainable Development in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Miami, is soliciting applications for individuals interested in possible part-time teaching positions (maximum two courses in a semester).

Minimum qualifications: one-year College teaching experience is preferred; a terminal degree in Geography or related discipline relevant to course being taught, thorough knowledge of the relevant sub-field, and competence in the general area of Geography. Applications will be reviewed as received, and this pool will remain open throughout the academic year. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
