Part-Time Bus Driver (Airdrie base)

Universal Coach Lines is hiring a Part-Time Bus Driver based in Airdrie, AB. Responsibilities include safely transporting passengers, performing vehicle inspections, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with luggage. Applicants must have a Class 1 or 2 Commercial Driver’s License, be fluent in English, and have at least one year of motor coach experience. The role requires flexibility for various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
• Safely operate a vehicle to transport passengers to and from designated locations
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Ensure both the interior and exterior of the bus are kept clean and presentable.
• Complete e-logs and reports
• Assist passengers with boarding/exiting the vehicle; and loading/unloading passenger’s luggage
• Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents
• Communicate with passengers in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:
• Class 1 or Class 2 Commercial Driver’s Licence with air brake
• Fluent in English
• Minimum of 1 year motor coach experience
• Customer service skills to provide a positive experience for passengers
• Willing to travel locally, provincially and nationally
• Willing to work various hours and shifts (including holidays, weekends and evenings)
