The United Green is hiring a Packaging Technician II – Machine Automation in Franklin, NJ. This full-time role involves operating and troubleshooting automated packaging equipment in a fast-paced cannabis manufacturing environment. Location: Franklin, NJ

Schedule: Monday – Thursday
• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Pay: $19.50/hr
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM | Pay: $20.50/hr

About the Role:

We're seeking skilled Packaging Technicians with a strong mechanical aptitude to join a high-volume cannabis manufacturing facility. This Packaging Tech II position focuses on supporting automated packaging equipment, ensuring smooth operations, accurate output, and consistent quality in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated packaging machines (e.g., weighing, bagging, labeling, and sealing systems).
• Perform routine machine set-up, calibration, and adjustments to ensure accurate and efficient packaging.
• Conduct in-process quality control checks to verify proper weights, seals, labels, and compliance with product standards.
• Assist in the final packaging of cannabis products for distribution.
• Identify and resolve minor equipment issues, escalating complex problems to maintenance when necessary.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow all SOPs, safety, and compliance protocols.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production goals.

What We’re Looking For:
• Previous experience operating or assisting with automated machinery (cannabis, food production, or manufacturing preferred).
• Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
• Must be 21+ and able to pass all required background checks.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance are required.
