Job Description

The Packaging Innovation Project Coordinator at beBee Careers in Lexington, KY, is responsible for implementing sustainable packaging solutions in manufacturing. Job Description:

As a key member of our project team, you will play a vital role in the implementation of sustainable packaging solutions across our manufacturing facilities.
• You will work closely with process and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, focusing on shipping and packaging assembly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research and test new sustainable packaging products at laboratories, ensuring best practices for local site implementation.
• Lead local teams to implement physical changes, such as label updates, warehouse modifications, workstation adjustments, and bin replacements as needed.
• Procure necessary equipment, tools, and fixtures for project implementation.
• Conduct thorough 3F analysis and FAIR reporting for each project.
• Provide hypercare for newly implemented sustainable materials, resolving any issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

Report project updates and completions to our sustainability team. Analyze financial impacts per project, including cost and cycle time analysis. Collaborate with XFMEA analysis for each implementation, ensuring compliance with global standards.
• Update work instructions and document technical specifications of packaging processes, including line layouts and capacity balancing.
• Ensure assembly process deliverables align with global practices.
• Coordinate equipment installations and validations as required, obtaining final sign-off from the Performance System (SPS).

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require knowledge of verification and validation processes for new product development, experience working in multicultural virtual environments, and a motivated self-starter able to work autonomously on multiple projects.
• Facilitate problem-solving and project management activities.

Qualifications:

With a minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing and/or process engineering, you should have experience with component replenishment and kanban material handling tasks, as well as awareness of stage gate processes.
