About the position

Join the world's leading generator of solar energy as a Solar PV Technician at NextEra Energy. As a Solar PV Technician, you will be the critical front-line to ensure the safe and optimal performance of all solar farm operations. Your primary focus will be on the safe execution of field-based equipment maintenance and diagnostics, as well as ensuring long-term reliability and profitability of the solar installations. This role is essential in implementing Operation Safety Policy Instructions and conducting field work in compliance with OSHA regulations, while also encouraging good employee safety practices and driving an unparalleled employee safety culture. In addition to safety responsibilities, you will participate in Business Lean Six Sigma processes and projects, which aim to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. You will also play a key role in recruiting and developing other technicians, contributing to the ongoing development of the team. Supporting the site manager, you will be involved in all phases of timely safety and environmental reporting, financial reporting, and ensuring turbine availability. Collaboration with internal NextEra users will be crucial as you develop and implement operation-focused feedback and solutions for both planned and unplanned maintenance, improvement projects, and overall financial performance. Requirements
• High School Grad / GED

• 1+ years of experience in a related field

• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
