Summaries of Major Duties:
The programme Specialist is responsible for ensuring effective management of UNDP programmes /projects in the areas of Environment and Climate Change. The Programme Specialist analyzes political, social, economic and environmental trends that impact on environment and climate change related issues and leads formulation, management and evaluation of programme activities within his/her portfolio. He/she provides policy and technical advice services to Government counterparts as well as UNCT amd other partners, including donors and civil society.
