PPA Originator - Solar and BESS (Europe) (m/f/d)

Greencells Group is hiring a PPA Originator for Solar and BESS projects in Europe. The role involves identifying PPA opportunities, structuring and negotiating agreements, and analyzing market trends. Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in PPA origination and knowledge of European energy markets. The position offers independent work within a growing international company and includes a flexible work-from-home arrangement.
Your mission
We're seeking an experienced PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) Originator to join our team, focusing on solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects across Europe. The ideal candidate will drive the structuring and negotiation of PPAs to support our growing renewable energy pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue PPA opportunities with corporate and utility off-takers
• Structure and negotiate complex PPAs for solar, hybrid and BESS projects
• Analyze market trends and electricity price forecasts to optimize deal structures
• Collaborate with internal teams (legal, finance, technical) to evaluate and mitigate risks
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the European energy market
• Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the renewable energy sector

Your profile
• 3+ years of experience in PPA origination, preferably in solar and/or BESS
• Strong understanding of European electricity markets and renewable energy policies
• Proven track record in closing PPA deals
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field;
