Hitachi Rail GTS Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a PMO Specialist to manage project performance, budget control, and resource forecasting in Singapore. Responsibilities include establishing project schedules, maintaining budgets, coordinating with contractors, and managing risks. Candidates should have a degree in business or engineering and experience with Primavera P6 and SAP. The position is on-site in Singapore, not remote.

PMO Specialist (Ref.No. R1009456) at our location in Singapore You will enjoy having these responsibilities: Lead key Project Management Office (PMO) management activities as a member of the delivery teams in charge of Bids and Projects assigned to you. This to enable analytical decision-making on project performance, budget control, resource forecasting and margin improvement. Project Control & Execution management Establish and maintain the execution budget baseline, from bid phase, to project transition until project close-out Establish and maintain the project WBS structure in the company ERP. Establish and maintain the cost centres/charges codes for the workpackages and proper assignment to resources Project Schedule management Establish and maintain the baseline schedule and progress (including Key Milestones), from bid phase, to project transition until project close-out Establish and maintain an accurate resource loading Attend the external coordination meetings with project third-parties (civil contractors, system-wide contractors, etc.) Develop adhoc schedule what-if scenarios requested by the projects/bids, including Extension of Time (EOT) assessments, as when and needed. Project Reporting Establish and maintain the Project roadmaps, key milestones, critical path analysis and resource S-curve in support to the Project Managers (PMs) and Workpackage Managers (WPMs) Contribute to the customer monthly reporting and dashboard for schedule matters Attend the customer monthly progress reviews for schedule matters Coordinate the project monthly actuals and variance review with the WPMs and PMs Establish and maintain the internal project dashboards Actively support the Project monthly EAC reviews and quarterly Bottom-Up Estimates (BUE) reviews Risks & Opportunity Management Establish and maintain the Risks register including the mitigation plan in support to the WPMs and PMs Establish and maintain the Opportunity register including the implementation plan in support to the WPMs and PMs Contribute to establish the annual margin improvement plan for assigned projects Contribute to the PMO activities consolidation at Country level as a member of the PMO department, including but not limited to: Resource Management Establish and maintain the consolidation of the resource forecasts view at country level across the departments Lead the preparation of the monthly resource planning reviews You have: Degree qualified ideally in business or engineering with similar experience as a planner / planning engineer / scheduler and PMO support Experienced using Primavera P6/Core Module Experienced using SAP by Design (or equivalent ERP). Well versed in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Attention to details is essential Good presentation and communication skills Team leadership skills and ability to work independently Strong organization skills Good team player with drive and initiative Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Willing to work towards professional qualifications and membership of a recognized project management institution (such as IPMA). Knowledge in MS PowerBI would be an advantage.
