Outdoor Environmental Educators

Role Description

This is a contract role for Outdoor Environmental Educators at OrcaNation, based in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam with the flexibility for some remote work. Educators will engage in day-to-day tasks such as leading outdoor education programmes, guiding wildlife encounters, developing environmental education curricula, and promoting ecological awareness among participants.

Qualifications
• Outdoor Education and Wildlife expertise
• Proficiency in Environmental Education and Curriculum Development
• Knowledge of Ecology principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children
• Experience working with children and families
• Ability to lead and facilitate group activities
• Passion for environmental conservation and sustainability
• Certifications in relevant fields (e.g. Wilderness First Aid, Scuba Diving) is a plus
• Child safeguarding
• Clean background for safeguarding checks
