Position Summary

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead our operations team and ensure every project exceeds expectations. This role requires strong leadership, a background in electrical systems and solar energy, and a passion for renewable energy innovation. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of solar installations, manage an exceptional team, and help shape Sagebrush Energy’s future.

Key Responsibilities
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor installation technicians, project coordinators, and support staff to maintain a high-performing team culture.
• Project Oversight: Plan, coordinate, and execute solar installation projects, ensuring they’re completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Installation Supervision: Oversee the design and implementation of solar PV systems, energy storage, and EV chargers, ensuring all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes to improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain exceptional customer service standards.
• Technical Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert in electrical systems, renewable energy, and troubleshooting.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
• Customer Focus: Partner with Sales and Customer Support to ensure every customer has a seamless and satisfying experience from consultation to completion.
• Safety & Compliance: Champion safety protocols and ensure full compliance with Nevada state regulations and company policies.
• Budgeting & Reporting: Manage operational budgets, resources, and reporting to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements, staff training, and new technologies to keep Sagebrush at the forefront of the industry.

Qualifications
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications:
• Master Electrician license, or equivalent experience.
• NABCEP certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical systems or solar energy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to manage solar installations and large-scale projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, permitting, and the NEC.
• Skills:
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
