Offshore Wind Internships 2025

OW Ocean Winds is offering Offshore Wind Internships in Edinburgh, UK, for university students or recent graduates interested in Renewable Energy. Interns will gain hands-on experience, shadowing colleagues and supporting projects in the offshore wind sector. Candidates should be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in various fields. The internship runs from June to December 2025, with potential for extension. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Ocean Winds develops, finances, builds and operates offshore wind farms all over the world. Ocean Winds increases its gross capacity day by day generating clean energy for millions of homes and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

In the UK alone this consists of 4 projects at varying stages of development: Moray East, Moray West, Caledonia, and Arven.

Ocean Winds UK is looking for motivated university students or recent graduates, who are looking to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the Renewable Energy sector.

Working as an Intern at Ocean Winds, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the Offshore Wind and Renewable Energy sector, working with specialists in their field to develop yourself to your full potential.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

REQUIRED ACADEMIC SKILLS
• On track for academic attainment in your Bachelors or Masters Degree (a variety of subjects welcome; Engineering, Business Management, Legal, Geography, Environmental Sciences, HR, Finance, etc.).
• Be recently graduated within 12 months or still studying.

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES:
• Communication skills.
• Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
• Problem-solving capabilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Passionate about the Renewable Energy sector.

LANGUAGES:

Ocean Winds has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates need to be fluent in English both spoken and written. Other languages will be valued.

LOCATION/ MOBILITY: The UK has offices in Edinburgh, Fraserburgh, and Buckie. Some travel may be required however this will be communicated to you during the interview process.

SALARY: Paid Internship.

WORKING PATTERN: Full-time (40 hours per week), and part-time working will be considered.

INTERNSHIP DATES: June 2025 till December 2025 (with the possibility of extension up to 1 year).
