Job Description
As a Senior Technical Review Branch Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our Renewable Energy Program. Your responsibilities will include providing supervision, oversight, and support to a team of technical professionals, monitoring and inspecting renewable energy facilities, and preparing and reviewing documents related to engineering and environmental policy issues. You will also develop recommendations for technology studies and research related to offshore renewable energy facilities and provide subject matter expert advice on lease and grant stipulations relating to operational safety.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or comparable experience not gained through Federal service. Your experience should include working on the design, siting, construction, maintenance, or regulatory review/oversight of utility-scale offshore wind projects or equivalent experience in a closely related field. Additionally, you must demonstrate expertise in applying regulations and official guidance, communicative techniques, and managing a diverse technical staff.
