The Office Services Coordinator, Sustainability, leads and supports initiatives that reduce environmental impact across office operations, from waste diversion and recycling to energy conservation. By tracking sustainability metrics, facilitating collaboration, and promoting eco-friendly practices, this role drives progress toward a zero-waste workplace. What You Will Do
• Coordinate office-wide sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction programs, recycling efforts, and energy-saving practices to improve environmental impact.
• Support data collection and tracking of office sustainability metrics, compiling reports on waste management, resource usage, and environmental performance.
• Serve as a liaison between the sustainability team and office departments, promoting best practices and encouraging sustainable behaviors across all levels of staff. Input and maintain sustainability data in centralized databases.
• Work closely with teams across departments, including operations, maintenance, marketing, and facility management, to advance sustainability goals.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to support follow-ups, coordination and communication.

What We Are Looking For
• Enthusiastic attitude: excited to work with other people and teams.
• Flexibility: able to work at different times, including days, evenings, and weekends.
• Remember, no specific experience needed—we will help coach on these workplace skills:
• Communication: clear and effective interacting with team members and customers to create a positive workplace.
• Problem solving: finding solutions to problems, being accurate, and using simple math i.e. counting, adding and subtraction.
• Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment. Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
• Between 15-30 years of age at the start of employment.
• Secondary high school an asset.
• Basic math skills.
