Position: Culture and Climate Coordinator I
Assist Principals and school leadership teams in implementing evidence-based strategies to support a positive school climate, classroom management, social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and behavioral interventions. Help integrate social, emotional, and academic needs into instructional and management processes.
Essential Functions:
• Support Principals in creating supportive school climates, with attention to closing achievement and opportunity gaps.
• Utilize data to help determine strategies for student success and identify professional development needs.
• Support planning and delivery of professional development addressing culture and climate challenges.
• Complete data reports and analyses for supervisors.
• Assist families and community members in conflict resolution.
• Help expand school leadership strategies for deeper learning.
• Identify obstacles to student success and collaborate on solutions, focusing on discipline issues and gaps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Valid Georgia Professional Standards Commission certificate in educational leadership at level L-5, NL-5, PL-6, or in a content area at T-5 or higher, or eligibility for such certification.
