We are seeking an experienced Experimental Scientist - Physical Oceanography to join our research team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing physical observational data streams to meet the requirements of internal and external stakeholders.

You will lead fieldwork to maintain weather observing systems and direct the development, assembly, and design work of instruments and sensors to be deployed.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in physics, mathematics, or equivalent disciplines, along with experience in MATLAB and/or Python computer programming, data analysis, and database applications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting, processing, and analyzing physical observational data streams
• Leading fieldwork to maintain weather observing systems

Requirements:
