Job Description

The Community College of Baltimore County seeks an Adjunct Faculty for Occupational Safety and Environmental Management to teach non-credit Workforce Development courses. The part-time role requires expertise in OSHA and EPA topics, with teaching locations in Catonsville, Dundalk, or Essex, Maryland. Candidates must have a high school diploma, computer proficiency, and strong communication skills, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

This part-time position teaches college level non-credit Workforce Development courses that focus on: 1) OSHA 10-Hour and OSHA 30-Hour awareness, and safety topics including Lead Paint, Lock-out / Tag-out, and Confined Space, and/or 2) EPA certifications and Green Topics, and/or 3) Directing and Overseeing Building Operations and Efficiency.

Campus locations: Catonsville, MD, Dundalk, MD or Essex, MD

Salary commensurate with experience.
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be a subject matter expert.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Experience teaching or training in an adult setting preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments.
