O&M Engineer – Solar Operations & Maintenance

KCP ECO ENERGY is hiring an O&M Engineer for solar systems in Chennai, India. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of solar power systems. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in solar O&M, strong knowledge of inverters and panels, and the ability to travel to multiple sites. About the Role

KCP ECO ENERGY is looking for an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Engineer to ensure the smooth functioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of solar power systems. If you have hands-on experience in solar system maintenance, inverter troubleshooting, and site inspections, we’d love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities

✔ Conduct routine maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of solar power systems.
✔ Monitor system performance and ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
✔ Identify and resolve faults in solar inverters, panels, and electrical systems.
✔ Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on-site.
✔ Prepare detailed service reports and documentation.
✔ Ensure safety compliance and adherence to solar industry standards.
✔ Coordinate with clients and internal teams for timely issue resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in solar O&M.
✅ Strong knowledge of solar inverters, panels, net metering, and grid connections.
✅ Experience in troubleshooting electrical faults in solar plants.
✅ Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
✅ Willingness to travel to multiple sites for maintenance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
