Description
Apple’s International Environmental Initiatives team is looking for a North America Environmental Compliance Program Manager. This is a great opportunity! You will focus on monitoring, analyzing, and implementing environmental requirements impacting products, including: material restrictions, right to repair, energy efficiency, eco-design, mandatory take back, and circular economy in the US and Canada. You will engage closely with cross-functional Apple teams and external partners to ensure excellence throughout all steps of the compliance process.

• Experience driving environmental compliance programs in the electronics or other relevant industry
• Good knowledge of existing product environmental regulations affecting consumer electronics in the US and Canada, with strong expertise on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)

• 6+ years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of policy and stakeholder engagement processes
• Proven record of working with cross-functional and international teams
• Ability to communicate complex regulations and technical information to a broad internal audience to build understanding and support

• Proven track record in driving environmental progress in complex organizations
• Self-starter with a proven ability to influence others and entrepreneurial mind set
• Experience in international waste shipment
• An environmental related degree or equivalent work experience

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
