Responsibilities
• Interact with and educate visitors about the natural world.

• Guide tours for schools and community groups.

• Conduct topical presentations and lead public programs.

• Assist in planning and coordinating special events such as Earth Day and Biodiversity Celebration.

• Create activities and conduct lessons for the summer day camp program.

• Support ongoing volunteer projects and restoration efforts at Trailside.

• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the housing facility.

Requirements
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Capable of shoveling snow and standing for long periods.
,
• Ability to walk or hike for extended periods.
,
• Comfortable interacting with people of all ages, especially children.

• Confident in driving a 15-passenger van and pickup trucks.

• Organized and clear communicator, capable of managing multiple tasks.
