The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering our people-focused culture within a sustainable and healthy business environment across the geographies, practices, and markets in New England. This position requires a proven track record in operational leadership, expertise in change management, a comprehensive understanding of the New England environmental and engineering markets, and a commitment to growth.

Responsibilities
• Lead the Division to meet key performance indicators related to project performance, resource management backlog and pipeline across the New England Division of Verdantas
,
• Support Leadership in developing/updating strategic plan and lead execution of the plan in the Division to drive growth, backlog, and sales by supporting expansion of existing practices and markets, as well as identifying new opportunities for growth
,
• Mentor and develop the next generation of leadership at Verdantas, promoting a collaborative and high-performance work environment
,
• Serve as Senior-in-Charge managing strategy; technical and design work; regulatory engagement; and business development
,
• Ensure the quality and technical content of all work products, maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
,
• Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business expansion and service diversification
,
• Lead business development efforts to expand Verdantas' existing practices and/or markets in New England
,
• Collaborate with the Area Client Delivery Leaders, including mentoring and coaching client account managers in the Division
,
• Lead and guide strategic positioning/prepositioning and guide execution for proposal opportunities, ensuring alignment with Verdantas' business goals and client needs

Requirements
• A bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution; higher education preferred
,
• 20 or more years of experience in environmental consulting
,
• P.E., P.G., and/or LSP, LEP required in one or more New England states
,
• Professional experience in one or more emerging markets in New England
,
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
