• *What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical expert across a diverse portfolio of environmental and natural resources projects, helping clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes while shaping resilient, sustainable solutions. You’ll bring your field and analytical skills to the forefront as you lead and support environmental due diligence efforts; independently conduct and oversee on site and remote wetland delineations using the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 1987 Manual; and develop clear, defensible delineation reports and mitigation plans for multifaceted projects.
Your work will span the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and permitting strategy to long term monitoring and adaptive management. You will prepare and review high quality technical reports; complete permitting application reviews and agency coordination; advance threatened and endangered species surveys and assessments; and contribute to infrastructure development and ecological restoration initiatives. You will also play a key role in evaluating, permitting, and monitoring habitat restoration projects, and in developing federal and state environmental documentation that is both technically sound and accessible to diverse audiences.
Success in this position requires strong collaboration with regulatory and reviewing agencies, proactive partnership with interdisciplinary internal teams, and regular travel to project sites and related locations. • *What We Are Looking For:**
• Proactive and productive team member ready to contribute
• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental or Soil Science or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• Wetland Professional Certification Program completion or ability to complete
• Ecological Restoration Training Program completion
• Threatened & endangered species surveys and assessments
• Working knowledge of applicable laws including Section 404-CWA, Section 7-ESA, Section 106-NHPA, and others
• Effective interpersonal written & verbal communication skills
• Strong time management, organization and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective knowledge and skills in ArcGIS
• Posses valid driver's license
