Job Summary:

The National Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations for the company’s full range of chemical products across the country. This role requires a seasoned and results-driven professional to design and implement strategic sales plans, lead a national sales team, and engage with customers and partners. In-depth knowledge of the chemical industry, market trends, competitors, and customer needs is essential to drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and implement national sales strategies for all product lines.
• Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding market presence.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to assess sales performance and team efficiency.

Team Building & Leadership
• Build and manage a high-performing national sales team.
• Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular reviews and set clear objectives.

Market Analysis & Customer Insights
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
• Ensure the sales team is well-versed in industry standards and product offerings.
• Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and end-users.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting
• Prepare sales forecasts and budgets aligned with business goals.
• Deliver regular reports on sales performance and potential challenges.
• Identify risks to growth and propose corrective actions.

Customer Relationship Management
• Cultivate long-term relationships with strategic clients and partners.
• Attend industry events and networking functions to stay ahead of market trends.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to leverage customer feedback.

Product Knowledge & Promotion
• Maintain deep understanding of company products, applications, and benefits.
• Support product development by identifying market demands.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and promotional strategies.

Budget & Resource Management
• Manage the sales department budget efficiently.
• Oversee allocation of sales resources, including promotional materials and samples.

Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Promote the safe handling of chemical products and educate clients accordingly.

Required Qualifications:
• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 7 years in sales within the chemical industry.
• At least 3 years in a sales management role.
• Experience with the company’s product range is highly preferred.
• Proven record in team leadership and achieving sales growth.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a fast-paced environment.
