Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever is hiring a full-time NV Coordinating Wildlife Biologist II - GIS Specialist in Reno, NV. The role involves collaboration with the Nevada Department of Wildlife and focuses on GIS data and modeling, statewide mapping applications, and seasonal habitat mapping for big game. Application deadline: June 11, 2025 Anticipated start date: July 2025 This is a full-time position working in partnership with the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) and Pheasants Forever, as well as other in-state conservation partners to assist with coordination and planning efforts related to GIS data and modeling efforts within Nevada. The initial primary tasks will focus on statewide mapping, modeling, and data collection projects including: Statewide mapping applications – This position will assist in the development of online mapping applications for a variety of purposes including supporting habitat restoration and conservation planning; communicating information regarding hunting, fishing, and public lands; and providing information about habitat and wildlife conservation plans.
