Verdantas is seeking a Municipal Staff Engineer II. This position will be located in Newark, Ohio.

Responsibilities:
• Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design
• Perform technical engineering work associated with Municipal and Transportation Clients:
• Roadway Design
• Multimodal Design
• Stormwater management design
• Utility design
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
• Support technical report writing and communicate outcomes effectively to team members and clients
• Collaborate with and observe contractors during construction

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering consulting
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Geopak/Openroads required
• Familiarity with stormwater modeling software is a plus
• Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
