Multiskilled Recycling Operative

Viridor is seeking a Multiskilled Recycling Operative in Glasgow, UK, responsible for sorting and separating waste, operating mobile plant, and assisting with maintenance. Candidates should have experience in recycling or production, attention to detail, and relevant mobile plant licenses. The role offers a salary of £28,548 plus benefits. As a Recycling Operative, you will undertake general recycling duties on site, including safely sorting and separating waste types into various streams, through the operation of fixed and mobile plant.
You will also assist with minor maintenance under the direction of the maintenance team and conduct thorough inspections of fixed plant, complete daily checks and report any defects.

· Experience in a production or recycling environment
· The ability to undertake structured work with consistent attention to detail.
· Previous experience of using mobile plant (front end loader, 360 grab)
· An awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace
· Full UK recognised mobile plant licences as required.
