About the position

Responsibilities
• Propose impactful climate research projects addressing climate change challenges in South Asia.

• Focus on at least one of the following areas: adaptation and resilience, mitigation efforts, climate-related public health, water resource management, biodiversity and ecosystem protection, climate policy and governance, or technology and innovation.

• Prepare a five-page, double-spaced research plan.
,
• Submit an updated curriculum vitae detailing academic degrees, publications, research presentations, and previous grants or fellowships.

• Provide a writing sample of no more than ten pages, double-spaced.
,
• Obtain two letters of recommendation uploaded directly to ARIeS.

Requirements
• PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant field.

• Demonstrated research experience in climate change or related areas.

• Strong analytical and writing skills.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with interdisciplinary research.

• Familiarity with South Asian climate issues and policies.
