The Mid to Senior Level Environmental Chemist will play a critical role in providing oversight of chemical data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation for environmental consulting projects serving federal and private sector clients. This position involves developing project quality assurance plans and supervising field and laboratory analyses while ensuring data quality. Skills
• Strong knowledge of laboratory analytical methods and field sampling techniques
• Familiarity with U.S. EPA SW-846 methods and regulatory programs such as RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, and CAA
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to serve as both a team leader and team player
• Expertise in environmental chemistry and planning
• Experience with data validation and verification

Responsibilities
• Provide oversight of chemical data acquisition and analysis for environmental projects
• Develop project quality assurance and sampling/analysis plans
• Serve as Chemical Data Quality Control officer for federal clients
• Manage subcontracted analytical laboratory services
• Supervise, mentor, and train junior to mid-level chemists
• Collaborate with Corporate QC managers and support business development initiatives

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in environmental consulting or related fields
• Proven track record of quality work and contribution to a positive work environment
