The Microgrid Program Manager at Management Recruiters International will oversee R&D-driven solar energy systems from concept to deployment. This role requires leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and resources, and ensuring compliance with standards. These technologies aim to transform the grid and provide equitable access to reliable, low-cost, clean energy in underserved and high-demand regions worldwide.TheMicrogrid Program Managerwill lead cross-functional execution of R&D-driven solar energy systems from concept through early deployments. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of product engineering, construction management, and customer implementation. The position plays a critical part in shaping how breakthrough solar and storage systems are brought to life in both internal development sites and live customer environments.What You'll DoLead end-to-end program execution for internal product development and external deployment projects
Coordinate across engineering, operations, supply chain, and EPC partners to ensure project delivery.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for both internal builds and customer systems
Oversee the construction and commissioning of early development and commercial sites
Translate complex engineering designs into executable field plans with input from cross-disciplinary teams
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and certification requirements
Drive seamless hardware-software system integration and field functionality testing
Serve as the main point of contact for customer engineering and project stakeholders during implementation
Capture field learnings and contribute to iterative product design and deployment improvements
The Ideal Candidate Will HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
5+ years of experience managing large, complex projects in solar, storage, or advanced energy systems
Strong knowledge of PV, battery energy storage, power electronics, and energy control systems
Experience bridging R&D, engineering, and field deployment teams
Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
