We have an opportunity for a motivated individual to fill the role of Metering Support Specialist. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for training new installers, coordinating installation schedules, supporting in-field installations and monitoring installation success.

Why this Role is Important:

The installation of electrical sub-meters allows Budderfly the ability to monitor in real time the energy usage of our customers. It provides baseline energy usage at the equipment level to ensure the performance of our energy saving devices and can indicate equipment issues to be addressed. The person in this role will train installers on how to install meters and use our software, as well as coordinate installations an monitor post-installation performance.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure Budderfly Work Orders, Surveys and Bills of Materials are created, scheduled and kept up to date.
• Work with third party vendors and internal installers to coordinate installation schedules.
• Learn the Budderfly meter installation process, field installation and required software usage.
• Provide technical/software/app support to in-field installers.
• Provide check out support to field installers, ensuring quality installations at customer sites.
• Provide post installation monitoring to confirm that readings align with expected values.
• Up to 25% travel required, once able to provide in the field training.
• Some weekend work may be required.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Two year Technical Associates Degree (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent combination of technical school training, military or industrial experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact with others and communicate technical concepts.
• Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting and project management skills with a demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Sub-meter installation experience a plus.
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills including the Microsoft Suite and the aptitude to learn our proprietary software system.

Compensation
$26—$32 USD

Compensation is based on factors including level of experience, skillset, qualifications, and location.
