Metal Recycling Yard Laborer

A1 Metal Recycling is seeking a full-time Metal Recycling Yard Laborer in Surrey, BC. Responsibilities include sorting, stacking, and grading metals, maintaining equipment, and loading/unloading vehicles with a forklift. The role requires physical capability, reliable transportation, and safety gear. Training is available for the right candidate. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour. English proficiency is preferred.
FULL-TIME

We are looking for a self motivated, reliable person with a "can-do" attitude to join our team.

Duties Include: Sort, stack, bundle and stamp materials. Maintain machines and equipment. Clean immediate work areas. Load and unload vehicles using forklift. Sorting and grading metals, using various equipment such a torches, chop saws and shears.

We are willing to train the right person but you must be physically able to perform various job duties, have reliable transportation, wear steel toed boots, reflective clothing. This position includes heavy lifting, repetitive movements, and use of machinery.

Assets: Forklift training / previous yard experience / team player
