Stratco Australia is hiring a Metal Processing Team Member for full-time day shifts in Ormeau, Australia. The role involves collaborating with team members, interpreting product drawings, and operating metal processing machinery. THE OPPORTUNITY

We are experiencing significant growth and are excited to expand our Metal Processing (MP) team in Ormeau. We currently have opportunities available for day shift, offering full-time hours with competitive base rates.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
• Interpret product drawings
• Manufacturing and assembling of goods to customer’s requirements
• Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines for our metal products
• Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
• Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

About You
• Essential – problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
• Essential – strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
• Desirable – prior experience with metal processing machinery and techniques (e.g. SWI Operation, RAS operator, Brake-Press, SliNet, Blanking, Guilotine etc)
• Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
• Whilst experience is great, it’ll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
• Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
