Job Description
Rolling Green Village in Greenville, SC is hiring a part-time Medical Transportation driver (PRN) to transport residents to medical appointments. Responsibilities include driving a van, assisting residents, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring safety regulations are followed. pWe are currently seeking a hospitality minded medical transportation driver to work PRN (as needed)./p
pCandidates must have a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding care to our residents./p
pDrive and maintain the Toyota 6 passenger van, transporting residents of Rolling Green Village in a safe and responsible manner to and from scheduled medical appointments. Must enjoy working with seniors./p

pstronguEssential Job Duties:/u/strong/p
ol
liTransport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments from their apartments and /or patio homes.nbsp;/li
liAssist residents in and out of the van and with personal items they may have with them including walkers, canes and other personal items./li
liDo a daily inspection of the van before leaving the property in it./li
liMaintain van log records for each trip as requested./li
liClean and remove trash from the van after each trip./li
liRestore van to “pretrip” setting after each use. All stored items in their places./li
liMaintain fuel level in the van. Request fuel card from Resident Services Director or ARSD and refuel van when needed.nbsp;/li
liReport maintenance concerns and needs to the supervisor. If not available, immediate concerns should go to maintenance director./li
liAssist director in scheduling routine maintenance and service checks./li
liHave van washed and cleaned inside and out on a regular basis./li
liBe flexible in scheduling for various trip times./li
liReport to the director any concerns/resident issues that occur while out with residents./li
liImmediately report any accidents or incidents to the director/supervisor./li
liObey all safety regulations and drive safely in all weather conditions./li
liMaintain daily participation/use log for billing purposes. Submit monthly billing to director by 24th of each month./li

liQualifications and Skills - must pass a criminal background check, drug screen and physical.nbsp;Must have a valid South Carolina driver’s license./li
liMust have a clean driving and police record./li
liMust have a high school diploma or equivalency./li
liMust be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions./li
liMust meet physical and sensory requirements for this position./li
