Job Description
CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for its facility in Hot Springs, AR. The role involves performing technical analyses, verifying results, and ensuring quality under supervision. Responsibilities include conducting chemical analyses, collecting specimens, and maintaining lab equipment. A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and ASCP certification are required. The position offers a pay range of $17.04 to $23.43 per hour and is not remote.
Overview
As our Medical Technologist at CHI St Vincent, you will help solve mysteries as to what’s ailing a patient and get us one step closer to successfully treating that illness or injury. You will perform a variety of technical analyses, verify results and assure quality and accuracy of tests under the direction of the Laboratory Supervisor(s), Laboratory Manager(s), Laboratory Administrative Director, and Laboratory Medical Director (Pathologist). You’ll build trust in all your interactions through your professionalism and work ethic.
• CHI St Vincent Hot Springs* is a 280 bed faith-based, non-profit, Magnet Accredited facility providing quality health care to patients and communities from all over the State of Arkansas. As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neuro, ortho, oncology and critical care/pulmonary. • Responsibilities*

Expectations
• Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids, including blood, urine, or spinal, to determine presence of normal or abnormal components
• Collect biological specimens from patients
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain equipment used in quantitative or qualitative analysis
• Enter data from analysis of medical tests or clinical results into computer for storage
• Qualifications*
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
• Certification by the ASCP Board of Registry/Board of Certification
• Pay Range*
$17.04 - $23.43 /hour
