About the role:

As a Mechanical Operator based at Talinga, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance across various coal seam gas compression facilities.

In this role, you will work closely with your Supervisor and team to ensure the availability, safe operation, and reliability of critical equipment. You will follow established operating procedures, maintenance schedules, and agreed philosophies to maximize efficiency and asset reliability.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safe and effective operation of gas processing facilities while enhancing long-term performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor process plant and equipment to ensure operations remain within the correct operating parameters.
• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize production, enhance safety, and reduce costs.
• Planned and unplanned maintenance on:
• * Various Gas Engines, screw and reciprocating Compression equipment
• Electric Driven Centrifugal Compression
• Gas Turbine Driven Centrifugal Compression
• Balance of plant associated with CSG facilities
• Ensure asset availability by proactively executing maintenance in line with operational requirements.
• Operate and maintain plant equipment safely and reliably, following all relevant procedures, maintenance schedules, and operational philosophies.
• Take ownership of plant and facilities, developing an in-depth understanding of their operation and performance.
• Support incident investigations and contribute to emergency response efforts as required.

• Proven competency in using computer-based management systems and Computer skills
