Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Meat Wrapper to join our fast-paced team at a USDA-inspected meat processing facility in Kuna, Idaho. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all meat products are properly packaged for sale, while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties:

- Wrap, package, and label meat products according to company standards, including Beef, Lamb, and Ostrich, using roll stock and vac seal equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict workplace safety procedures and while complying with all USDA guidelines.
- Ensure all meat products are properly handled and stored.
- Perform basic math calculations to accurately count and weigh meat products.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet high-volume production demands.
- Maintain knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring all procedures are followed correctly.
- Maintain effective working relationship with USDA inspectors.
- Occasional duties in frozen storage.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a meat wrapper.
- Basic math skills, with the ability to accurately count and weigh meat products.
- Familiarity with USDA regulations and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of meat cuts preferred.
- High energy, ability to stand for long periods and comfortably lift up to 50 pounds.
