Azizi Developments is seeking a Master Planner in Dubai, UAE. The role involves overseeing master planning processes, managing stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and sustainable practices. As a Master Planner reporting into the Chief Development Officer (CDO), you will oversee all aspects of master planning within the organization, ensuring the delivery of visionary, sustainable, and functional developments.

This role involves managing internal and external stakeholders, approving master plan works, overseeing change management processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments.

The candidate will lead the development of master plans from visioning through to detailed master plan, manage consultants and contracts, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee the vision, concept, detailed master planning and overall landscape and public realm process for all master planned developments.
• Ensure master plans align with organizational goals, market trends, and sustainable practices.
• Act as the primary decisionmaker on master planning aspects and approve all master plan works and changes.
• Manage all master planning, landscape and public realm, signage and wayfinding, waste management and lagoon consultants and subconsultants, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Prepare and issue RFPs for specialty consultancy services, evaluate proposals, and oversee the awarding process.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage consultant contracts to maintain alignment with project requirements.
• Develop master plan internal change and approval policy and process.
• Oversee project timelines, related contracts cost control, and program schedules for master planning activities.
• Manage change requests and approvals, ensuring impacts on time, cost, and quality are evaluated and mitigated.
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, infrastructure, and other departments to ensure alignment with the master plan.
• Act as the key liaison between the master planning team and the site to address design and implementation challenges.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships with regulatory authorities and external partners.
• Ensure all master plans meet development vision, objectives, feasibility, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company guidelines.
• Conduct detailed reviews of consultant deliverables and provide critical feedback to enhance quality and functionality.
• Incorporate best practices in urban planning, landscape and public realm and sustainability into master plans.

Qualification & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, Architecture, or a related field. A master's degree in urban design, City Planning, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in master planning.
• Proven experience in managing largescale masterplanned developments, particularly in clientside roles.
