The Opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy as a Production Supervisor at our Crystal Springs, MS location! There are two openings for this position follows a weekday shift schedule from Monday to Friday. Current shift hours are from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 3 pm to 11:30 pm. These hours may change, and overtime may be required outside these hours or on weekends.

How You’ll Make an Impact
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
• Ensure all activities under your responsibility are addressed in the respective health and safety risk analysis, and required controls are defined to conduct the work safely.
• Identify gaps in safety, quality, and production processes and develop actions to close gaps.
• Communicate daily production targets and exceptions with the production employees.
• Assign team members and adjust workflow based on the size of the work team and customer priorities.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for continuous improvement activities.
• Engage team members and develop best practices within areas of responsibility.
• Support the team members’ training.

Your Background:
• Associate degree (may consider non-degree candidate with significant years of experience).
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisor role.
• Experience in lean manufacturing.
• Experience in using SAP is a plus.
• Experience with metal works, welding and painting is a plus.
