TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and Las Vegas, Nevada. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers. Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Supervisors Title: Supervisor/Manager

Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate who will work amongst, KraftLoop, Maintenance, and ClimaCell areas while adhering to proper safety rules and regulations. The position will require material handling, packing, and/or custodial duties with opportunity to train and grow toward forklift operator or machine operator roles. Compensation and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience level.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Understand and follow all standard operating procedures and policies
• Place product on a production line
• Stack product in a box
• Safely operate a pallet jack or other tools/equipment
• Assist with SKU changes
• Build boxes and gaylords
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
• Keep box staging area clean and clear of excess materials and trash
• Maintain clean forklift lanes, clear of obstructions.
• Participate in cleaning and organization of the facility
• Discard trash throughout the building
• Utilize compactor, densifier, or other types of waste receptacles
• Flex as needed across the manufacturing facility to balance man-power supply with production line demands
• Other duties as necessitated by the business

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
• Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
• Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted
• Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
• Able to react and respond quickly to noises, smells, visual hazards, and alerts
