Responsibilities
• Oversee and direct housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations.
• Perform and guide teams in various housekeeping and laundry tasks across different shifts.
• Lead the training of staff, perform quality control, and conduct in-service sessions; ensure projects and programs are completed on time.
• Maintain detailed records of income, expenses, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG computer software.
• Serve as the primary liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff; communicate directives effectively.
• Utilize protective gear as needed; ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions and compliance with safety protocols.
• Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions with supervisors, co-workers, client staff, residents, and guests.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to ensure smooth operations.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies is required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Comfortable working in environments with food and cleaning products.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions effectively.
• Residency within the service area is required.
