Job Description

The Manager of Environmental Services at West Virginia University Health System oversees daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness standards are met. About the position

Manages daily operations of the department responsible for providing environmental services, ensuring alignment of operations with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
• Establishes and maintains high expectations for cleanliness and ensure all job assignments are completed while conforming to standards.

• Develops housekeeping staff through hiring, training, performance management, employee relations, and coaching.

• Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures for cleaning of the building to maintain high expectations for facility cleanliness.

• Investigates and addresses escalated complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
,
• Maintains relationships with external vendors and internal departments.

Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
,
• Five (5) years of housekeeping experience with three (3) years of previous supervisory duties.

Nice-to-haves
• Associates degree.
