About the position

The Manager, Market Transport Sustainability Compliance at Pfizer will serve as the primary point of contact for US Market Transport compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), and Global Supply Chain (GSC) Sustainability requirements. This role is pivotal in supporting and enhancing the Market Transport Sustainability capability through industry benchmarking, project management, and analytics, ensuring compliance with CO2e reporting and driving sustainability initiatives within the logistics network.

Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for Market Transport Sustainability compliance.

• Lead the Market Transport Sustainability capability and collaborate with EHS/ESG and GSC Global Sustainability teams for CO2e reporting compliance.

• Support CO2e reduction projects through project management and thought leadership.
,
• Work with transportation suppliers to identify CO2e reduction pilots and develop business cases.

• Incorporate CO2e reduction methodologies into Market Transport business practices.
,
• Develop standard work process flows and controls for the Market Transport Sustainability capability.
,
• Ensure effective management of all Market Transport Sustainability projects in compliance with IMEX processes.

• Participate in benchmarking and thought leadership forums.
,
• Lead change management for the implementation of sustainable Market Transport solutions.
,
• Partner with Digital teams to implement key metrics and reporting solutions across the Logistics Network.
,
• Visualize data using analytics and basic programming to create understandable formats.
,
• Ensure solutions are tested, maintained, and adopted across the US Logistics network.

• Act as the primary contact for issue mitigation for Logistic Centers and customer service groups.

• Support the carrier qualification process and transport data management solutions.

Requirements
• High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree in Logistics/Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain with 8 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with more than 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 0+ years of experience.

• Experience in transportation, engineering, customer service, supply chain, or logistics.

• Experience with sustainability concepts and reporting.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and database mining.

• Strong interpersonal skills for managing supplier relationships and working in cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrable data analysis skills (SQL, Tableau Prep, UDH, etc.).

• Strong project management, communication, presentation, and data analysis skills.
