ReNew is seeking a Manager for its Project Management Office focused on Solar Manufacturing Projects in Gurugram, India. The role involves project monitoring, budget control, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring timely execution. Project monitoring, Budget controlling, Coordination with Cross functional dept, meeting & follow-up with all stake holders of the project for timely execution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Project Controls execution support: Enable project team for executing the project on time. Implement/execute the cost and schedule management program for assigned project(s). Support area infrastructure planning efforts at various stages, facilitate development of cost estimates and budgets, and establish reasonable cost and schedule baselines.
Scheduling / Planning: Developing L-1 to L-2 schedule, S-curve and extrapolating it to L-4 to L-5 breakdown. Creating WBS for L4-L-5 level by identify the critical chain of the task. Monitoring/identifying the resource allocated to critical task. Monitoring critical paths and push all stake holder to be on target. Identifying / creating mitigation plan in coordination with all stake holders to arrest the impact on total timeline.
Analysis and Tracking: Perform trend analysis and actively evaluate project cost and schedule performance to identify potential risk areas, validate forecasts, and flag the same to the relevant stakeholders.
Reporting: Develop dashboards to communicate progress, critical path, cost and schedule performance to teams in real time. Implement a standardized suite of cost and schedule reports that enable senior management to make data driven decisions.
Risk Assessment: Work with key stakeholders to identify project risks, and lead the cost and schedule contingency management process for assigned projects and prepare and present mitigation plan to senior management.
Budget Control: Assist Procurement team on the budget control and report the management on the planned versus actual.
Coordination: Coordination with the different stake holders internal and external for smooth execution of the project and envisage & eliminate any hold points.
Studies / Analysis of Project: Lead ad-hoc cost and schedule studies that enable rapid decision-making based on payback, rate of return, etc..
Change Management / Forecasting: Implement change management practices and appropriately capture associated cost and schedule activities.
Profile & Eligible Criteria
• Education: BE/BTech (Full Time) in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Should have strong awareness on contract terma.
• Should be PMP Certified, Project/Advanced Management course from IIM, NICMAR / reputed college
• 10-14 years’ of relevant post qualification experience with at-least 6 Years in End To End Site Execution.
• Collaboration and multi-tasking skills
• Good analytical and presentation skills
• Should have good experience in project management tools, such as primavera, MSP, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and power point).
• Should be open to travel.
• Preferred Industry – Solar Manufacturing, Oil & Gas , transmission , Power Plant, Refineries or Substations.
