We operate year-round, maintaining a large facility that requires ongoing maintenance and improvements. We're looking for a hands-on Greenhouse Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the upkeep of our structures, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth operations.

Position Overview

The Greenhouse Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and repairing greenhouse structures, irrigation systems, heating/cooling systems, and other essential infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical, plumbing, and general contracting work, along with strong problem-solving skills to address maintenance challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and perform repairs on greenhouse structures, including poly, and metal framework.
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, including lighting, fans, and climate control systems.
• Perform plumbing work, including irrigation systems, water lines, and drainage maintenance.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of HVAC and boiler systems.
• Supervise and coordinate with maintenance staff and outside contractors as needed.
• Develop and follow a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of maintenance tasks, repairs, and inventory of spare parts.
• Assist with general facility upkeep, including equipment maintenance, small construction projects, and emergency repairs.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards.

Qualifications
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or general contracting work.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in greenhouse or agricultural facility maintenance is a plus.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Leadership skills to manage projects and coordinate maintenance staff.
• Valid driver's license required; forklift certification is a plus.
