The Opportunity
Join Holcim as a Maintenance Manager at our Isle of Grain site, where you'll oversee all aspects of equipment and facility maintenance. As part of a leading supplier of construction materials, this role offers a unique chance to enhance site performance, safety, and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all planned and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Oversee the effective use of plant, equipment, and facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead, train and build upon the maintenance team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety excellence.
• Maintain accurate records and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies in line with company objectives.
• Collaborate with operations management to address breakdowns and maintain uninterrupted customer support.
Who You Are
You’re an experienced Maintenance Manager with a strong technical background and a proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic setting. Your expertise in maintenance strategies and passion for safety make you a standout candidate. Here’s what makes you a great fit:
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering, with experience in welding, cutting, and fabricating techniques being desirable.
• Proficiency in planning and implementing maintenance schedules, with a solid understanding of engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication and team-working skills, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Ability to adapt to a five-day workweek with occasional weekend work as required, ensuring the smooth operation of the site.
