Schedule and Location

Full-time, day shifts at AdventHealth North Pinellas.
About the Role

Perform general maintenance and preventive maintenance according to hospital policy.

You will require general knowledge of air conditioning systems, plumbing, electrical systems, boilers, water testing/treatment, life safety equipment, oxygen, medical air, nitrogen systems, and emergency generators.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, handle work requests, and submit required reports within set timeframes. Assigned as 'On-Call' Mechanic on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs throughout the hospital.
• Maintain building systems of all satellite offices, including Palm Harbor Emergency Department.
• Test and treat cooling towers, maintain water softener salt levels, and operate boilers.
• Maintain and test life safety systems and perform emergency repairs during scheduled on-call duties.
• Conduct rounds of online equipment, record pressures and temperatures, and report anomalies.
• Participate as a member of the Hazmat team.
Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of healthcare building maintenance experience.
• Valid Florida State Driver's License.
