Job Description
Novolex is hiring a Maintenance Buyer in Yakima, WA, responsible for managing inventory, ordering materials, and improving supplier performance. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency in analytical tools. • The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

How You'll Perform The Role
This position is responsible for planning/ordering material and parts to support production and maintenance, drive responsive supplier performance, process and service improvements, and productivity improvements.
• Manage daily inventory of the Parts room, ensuring all parts and tools are received and entered into the company inventory in a timely manner.
• Order and maintain an accurate inventory of all parts and tools on hand.
• Responsible for communication with Operations to ensure adequate supplies are ordered and received.
• Manage multiple tasks with varying timelines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensures parts room is clean and organized.
What We Need From You
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication, leadership, project management and relationship building skills
• Strong analytical, business process analysis and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong organizational and presentation skills
• High motivation and results-oriented work ethic
• Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Coupa, E-Maintenance, and Adobe.
