Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Helper to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for assisting in troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing company vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in performing regular scheduled tractor inspections and complete checklists
• Perform routine repairs and make adjustments as required
• Operate electric arc welding equipment to repair ramps, ladders, and tripods
• Assist on road service trips and maintain required logs, records, and reports
Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
• 6-12 months training in truck/automotive maintenance
• Knowledge equivalent to 6-12 months training in interpreting data and working with various types of meters and diagnostic equipment
