Lynker Corporation is hiring a MetOcean Data Analyst to support NOAA's National Data Buoy Center at Stennis Space Center, MS. The role involves analyzing meteorological and oceanographic data, identifying errors, and utilizing scientific programming tools. While the position allows for remote work upon approval, on-site presence is also required. Candidates should have a background in Meteorology, Oceanography, or Physical Sciences, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications:Background or experience in analyzing meteorological and oceanographic observations (e.g. winds, atmospheric pressure, temperatures) in the marine environment and identifying observational errors of all types. Familiarity of operating characteristics of automated monitoring systems and the ability to recognize system performance anomalies.
