Logistics and Energy Operations Expert

The Logistics Management Institute is seeking a Logistics and Energy Operations Expert in Washington, DC. We are looking for an experienced Logistics and Energy Operations Expert to support our esteemed Federal client. With a focus on improving capability over lifecycles of systems already in acquisition, this role requires strong analytical skills and experience in acquisition decision-making.
• Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of strategy, policy, plans, and guidance related to operational energy programs.
• Support oversight of the statutorily required energy Key Performance Parameter (KPP).
• Review existing analyses associated with the energy KPP.
• Assess operational risks in Department acquisition portfolios resulting from degraded energy supportability and insufficient Joint energy logistics capacity.
• Required Skills and Qualifications*
• Fifteen (15) + years of experience with five (5) + years of OSD/GCC/GFC/Service staff/Joint Staff experience.
• Degree: Masters, or ten (10) years of relevant work experience, with a major in Operational research/analysis, military sciences, engineering, scientific, or other technical degree; social sciences degree may be considered with comparable and appropriate professional experience.
