Job Description

Dover Corporation is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Tulsa, OK, responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving functions, coordinating with freight forwarders, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. The role requires good communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position is onsite, emphasizing safety and organization in the workplace.

To coordinate and control the administration within the shipping and receiving functions to ensure that agreed contracts, filings, declarations are adhered to, and to ensure that SWEP receives agreed services from forwarders and is charged the correct amounts. Perform other duties as per requests of superiors within agreed job competences.

Responsibilities
• Daily shipping arrangements and invoicing.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders related to logistics matters
• Review charges from freight forwarders and verify invoices from freight forwarders
• Uploading tracking information after shipping
• Responsible for other logistics matters i.e. COO application, retention of logistics related records, etc.
• Responsible for coordinating delivery appointments
• Responsible for providing freight quotes upon request
• Prepare compiled shipping documents for Customs Clearance according to the required documentation process and compliance with the customs regulations and requirement for imported and exported goods.
• Participate in implementation, maintenance, and improvement for ISO 14001 (EMS), 9001 (QMS), and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) in the company
• Follow all safety rules, procedures, and instructions.
• Use PPE and safety equipment as required.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices to supervisors immediately.
• Participate in safety training and drills.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to minimize hazards.

Qualifications, Education, and Experience
• High School Diploma or GED, together with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Logistics, preferably in MNC manufacturing environment.
• Exposure in an ISO certified (EMS & QMS) manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience with trade compliance documentation strongly preferred
• Previous experience using a transportation management system (TMS) preferred

Skills and Competencies
• Good command of written and verbal English
• Good team work and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Proactive and detail oriented
• Highly organized
